al workshop ASTRI INAF – ICT 2018 a Catania

Laboratori Guglielmo Marconi participated in the ICT Workshop organized by INAF in Catania, held from September 10–14, 2018, with ICT specialists Diego Billi and Matteo Genghini presenting the Sanet monitoring platform for the ASTRI project (Astrophysics with Replicated Technology Mirrors – Italian initiative).

ASTRI, funded by MIUR, is focused on developing the next generation of IACT (Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes) for ground-based gamma-ray astronomy. These advanced instruments will enable deeper exploration of the violent universe, from supernova explosions to active galactic nuclei, and even the elusive dark matter.

Sanet’s integration into this cutting-edge research highlights LABS’s commitment to supporting high-performance ICT solutions in scientific environments.
